Converted from the maltings of Camelon distillery in 1840, rebuilt in 1864. As with most lowland distilleries the make was triple distilled. In the 1890's there was exceptional demand for Rosebank when customers were restricted to an allocation. At one time the excise man assigned to this distillery was called William Bastard. Sold to British Waterways Board (2002) to become part of the Forth Clyde Canal attraction.
