The oldest distillery in Scotland being established in 1775 but dating back to 1717 when there were 5 bothies with illicit stills. Closed between 1923 and 1959. Glenturret only has one pair of stills producing approximately 200,000 litres of spirit annually.
Towser the now deceased distillery cat has a mention in the Guiness Book of Records having caught 28,899 mice in its lifetime.
The Famous Grouse Experience, an award winning tourist attraction is situated here - don't let your children miss it.
